R09 – Paul Ricard – FIA Formula 2 Race Preview

PREMA Racing F2 Paul Ricard

PREMA Racing is ready to continue its busy summer stint coming from Red Bull Ring in Spielberg moving to a week-long break and eventually to the French Grand Prix venue of Circuit Paul Ricard this weekend. A flat, challenging circuit featuring tough corners and long straights surrounded by the iconic blue and red runoff areas, Paul Ricard is returning to the FIA Formula 2 Championship after a two-year hiatus.
The 2022 series has reached round 9 and while PREMA had a tough weekend back on Austrian soil, the team is aiming for a comeback with Red Bull Junior drivers Jehan Daruvala and Dennis Hauger.
Both the Indian, who stands fourth in the championship standings, and the Norwegian rookie, have showed winning potential, having achieved multiple podium finishes. A good run at Circuit Paul Ricard would provide them with a chance to perform to their fullest.
Rene Rosin – Team Principal
“We are working as hard as possible to get back to our full potential and we are looking forward to being on track in Formula 2 at Circuit Paul Ricard. The series has been up and down for us this year and we are giving our 100 percent to retain and build on the positives to get where we belong with both Jehan and Dennis.”
