PREMA Racing captured its second points finish of the weekend at Jeddah Corniche Circuit as it once again lined up with a single car for Kimi Antonelli after Ollie Bearman’s Formula 1 call-up.

Antonelli had a positive start from P5 on the grid and managed his option tyres in the first part of the race. While he went for an early stop in green condition, other drivers were able to capitalize on a safety car to make their mandatory pit-stop, gaining a lot of time.

Antonelli tried to maximize his Prime tyres at the end of the race, and eventually secured sixth place, recording his third consecutive points finish and laying good foundations for the next round of the series at Melbourne.

“The start of the Feature Race was much better, then I was struggling with the pace throughout the whole race as I had some understeer. That cost us quite some laptime, but we were also quite unlucky because some drivers pitted with the safety car and moved in front of us gaining a lot of places. Of course, not the results we wanted, but it was a big step compared to Bahrain. We’ll see how it goes in Melbourne.”
